Crystal Reports is OK for serious professionals, but too complex for the average user. I won't go into all the basics, but if you call for to read a customer review on Amazon to know if this software is for you, you must probably not be buying it. I have received reports made with Crystal, and they are often completely unusable because the person using the software did not know what they were doing. Ultimately, the report tools already included in most database and spreadsheet software is powerful enough.
