I have been effective with computers (confess a networking company) for over 20 being. I purchased and upgraded a customer's software to Intuits POS Translation 10. Translation 10 is a cut of crap. They have unhindered as of this writing 12 updates to it in about 4 months. It still doesn't bring about accurately and the support they offer is dreadful. The customer washed-out thousands on the software and a couple of thousand tiresome to support it and keep it running. DO NOT BUY IT!

Do not buy this product 6.0 was so much surpass. I have had nothing keep for problems. We have lost tons of figures we cant make back the system does what it desires all the time changes departments on inventory. Cant make products with the intention of work with it accurately for more at that time a only just any days. Tech support is baised in INDIA!!! I cant be with you anything they display. They put you on hold for 8-15 min just long enough to make you angry bring you back on and display "oh please hold just a little longer" so another 15 min goes on and still nothing. This products facial appearance are just bad, I try to import a touch and it duplicates it 3 era in my system. No reason why. I have even had IT support here and they have no perception what to do with it. I cant protect responsibility this should abandon.

I have used quickbooks for numerous years now, early with translation 4.0. The contemporary upgrade, or more accurately contemporary lower, has been terrible. Consumer benefit is powerless to solve any of our harms and many of the important facial appearance found in translation 9.0 are no longer void. The 2011 translation is not user forthcoming, and has quite factually been a nightmare for our store at our busiest time of the year. The only wits we switched was to take up again with our multi-store map that was disolved in the "updates" for 9.0. Idea it would be too crazy looming Prayer and Christmas we opted to go with 10.0 very than a new curriculum completely. Had we known the 10.0 translation is in the end a brand new curriculum, and is so uncommon that we have to retrain our employees anyhow, we never would have gone owing to with it! $900 for what???

I am so wretched I ever bought this software.I helped my wife set up this POS software for her retail store. We wanted barcoded supply control and good integration with QuickBooks Pro (monetary).Despite the fact that we have a graduate degree in computer science, and experience with accounting, we spent many long nights fixing problems and bugs in this software. Our expectations were sweet low based on reviews we had read--but this software has been much worse.To add insult to injury, you're constantly given pop-up ads trying to sell you additional Intuit features. Also, some important features are disabled in the Basic software and you need to upgrade to Pro to do equipment like control the layout of price tags. This is actually required to get them to even print right on some printers.If the software crashes on you (and I personally guarantee it will), and you call help, they will tell you you need to buy a help narrow. When your system is down due to their incompetence, this is a big insult.The software would be workable if it was stable and did what it advertised. Intuit needs to halt adding new features to this software, hire a better software team, and just spend some time stabilizing the product. It is to flaky for production use. Here are maybe half of the bugs we have ran in to:- Prints barcodes too small (way out of spec for most readers) on Zebra zlp 2824 plus laser printer (officially supported, according to intuit). Their response: upgrade to Pro so you can use label designer. This is classic bait and thrash. (Friend me if you'd like to share legal expenses and go after them on this).- Rename company file, rename back, deletes all your backups- End of day Z-out and drawer regard. choose Custom time period, choose time. That time becomes non-payment for any later "Today" Z-out reports. Drawer is off. If you run "Custom" again with correct time and date (today, 12-12), it then ignores the deposit so your drawer is off again next time you do a fixed "Today" z-out drawer regard.- Warning about QBF has changed to new company file is not dependable--- we got our warning a week before long after we noticed it ourselves and used QBF to compare the two files (which must have triggered the late warning--which was then triggered multiple times, clicking OK 3 times in a row still did not allow end of day monetary data exchange to proceed--had to cancel and try again).- Popup dialog "Problem: some of your changes are still being updated. Solution: Please wait for the dashboard to complete the bring up to date and try again". Cannot accurate POS, thus cannot reboot cleanly. May need to kill process.- Credit card processing stopped working suddenly. multiple days of many hour calls with SW tech help in India did not resolve problems. Personnel left our computer firewalls open, changed our company file and commonly messed equipment up. Reconfigured all windows networking, killed POS SW, rebooted, and days before long it started working again but cut out once and required another reboot.- When entering credit card in rank manually, sometimes you can enter a accent auth. number and bypass network official recognition, other times you cannot. Seems to depend on which order you click on fields in the GUI but it really works only at random

We be inflicted including fought including this piece of poorly-executed, barely-supported nonsense software for three being now. I can't mind the era my wife has been cut-rate to tears (and she doesn't scream) over obtuse errors and unstable actions in this supposedly "top notch" product. Request anyone who has really tried to aid it... and you'll approve of something moreover. We've agreed up and are only limping along even as researching other solutions.

Idea of upgrading? deposit on't do it. This is the worst piece of software we be inflicted including always encountered. We were impeccably fortunate including V6 and were mandatory to upgrade to V10. Here is no reduction feature to this upgrade.
