ResumeMaker Professional 11 (Old Version) Buyer Reviews

I have Windows XP media on my home PC. After loading this software, I got a idea that vital Windows files had been replaced by an unrecognized version. It prompted me to slot in my Windows XP Professional CD. I don't have this since I don't have Windows XP Professional. I rebooted my PC and it would not boot up by the book. I had to uninstall this manufactured goods and do a roll back. Once I did this, my PC was fine.If you have Windows XP, I would not urge export this manufactured goods. It will screw up your PC. I can't actually rate the real manufactured goods since I can't use it.

By using the "Resume Maker Professional 11" I was able to successfully obtain a Federal job that I don't think I may possibly have otherwise obtained. All ten modules were extremelyinformative and professional in helping me arrange a resume that adequately reflected my skills, talent andexpertise. Also, by using the "Salary Finder" I was able to negotiate a satisfactory salary. By keepingall my records and information in this one file on the CD, the data is readily available whenever I need it.I recommend the "Resume Maker" to anyone interested in improving their profession skills whether they arelooking for a change in employment or not.Respectfully,Robert J. The best part of this program is that it offers a variety of formats to use to write your resume. However, if you defy use the "Resume Caster" option, you'll get your email address sent to many different online employment agencies that will then send you job offers that are not even in your field. The end result is that you have a whole new set of spammers flooding your email box constantly. In addition, the salaries that they quote for some jobs are over 10 years old! So if you wanted to find a current salary range for the job you're seeking, you'll know what the WERE ten years ago. There are other parts of this program that are decent and I think it's value a purchase for some people.

I dont know why people are having problem in using this product. I would rate myself an expert in MS Word and an intermediate level user of LaTeX processing system. But this software is not about formatting and design aspects of resume it's also about effectively writing one and more importantly organizing one.The interface is very intutive and well organised and it gives you tons of formatting and designing options for unreliable resume's layout without even worrying about the contents. I have not gone through the Cover Letter section or any other value added feature of the wrap. Simply by using the resume section i am satisfied or should i say more than satisfied with the product. You can also export your resume's in word format or even in html or other electronic forms for publishing it online. For anybody who cares about his resume this is a highly recommended piece of software.

I came to this site to leave a A+++ review on this manufactured goods, and before I did I saw some negative comments from additional people who had on paper how disappointed they were.. You know I be inflicted including been using computer software for a lot of being, and all I can say is these bad reviews should be from people who don't be inflicted including a inkling.. Not only has ResumeMaker been super easy to use, but it landed me a job surrounded by a week!!I guess you just can't delight everybody, but then there are those who would nag in this area getting out of bed in the morning.. In fact I had purchased a further manufactured goods called Winway Luxurious (Resume Curriculum)beore this and was so dissopointed I gave it away... After talking to a saleman at a software pile, he had confirmed ResumeMaker Pro. was the only one they hear clear pointer from pleased customers, so I bought a copy. Boy am I glad I had talked to a person who sells software for a income, and may possibly yield me straight up adive..All I can say is do your family bring about and you will see what I am saying, and if you want something easy to use go get ResumeMaker Pro.. Much best than I anticipated. Frustrated at first, since I too could not import my resume from a MS Word paper, & had to enter the data for myself (poor me). BUT, it is was well worth the try! Pleasantly bowled over with this OUTSTANDING manufactured goods that was worth every penny. My only discontent is not using this software faster. One caveat: my pad is very new, and I have a very fast Internet tie. Consequently, I am not sure I can urge this manufactured goods to all.

If all you want to do is create and print a resume you might be happy including this software. None of the other features work. Resume Maker states that you can choose from thirty different styles in which to print your resume. Doesn't work. Resume Maker also says that you can e-mail your resume and it will retain its original plan. Not so. I sent a resume to a prospective employer, making sure I sent it in the plan requested. (HTML) It was a fix. I had to send a hard copy byUPS. Individual Software has yet to responed to e-mails sent to consumer service.

Wrap visibly states it imports resumes. As you get to with the intention of part it tells you with the intention of if you aspire to import it will be inflicted with to be plain copy (i.e. no Word docs), with bullets and formatting indifferent. Water supply, with the intention of's sweet greatly just not importing.Secondly, the curriculum hangs on XP all the calculate. I be inflicted with a strain new machine, with patches. And I simplified Resume Maker aptly off. Still hangs.Actually, this is a waste of cash. I'm charitable up on it and inane in trade to Word. All the other 'facial appearance' (sample resumes, etc.) can be found at loads of websites.

The drop-down menus are not specific enough for different job titles, I have a M.S. in Chem. Eng, my scale from Resume Maker is chemical technician. Graphics do not export to a Word format. Resume Caster i.e. send one resume to multiple job sites, is very restricted and a waste of time if your are veteran in your area of work. Software locks-up often. Waste of Money. I wish I could get a refund.
