There were never limits on the number of employees I had on quickbooks in my prior consulting years. Right now I have a new client that will only have a few employees but has already had 2 new hires that lasted less then a week. (Wow - imagine that happening in a small startup construction company.) Right now this client has only 1 employee but will have 2 or 3 max when he finds the right crew. Guess what - I now have to tell the client he will need to put out a further 150.00+ because his employees did not work out. Intuit -- here is a little uninvited advise. Just up your price and bring to a standstill including the games. People are talking... Isn't a reputation value anything anymore?

QB sells its payroll $350, Amazon sells it at $140. The product I bought is for 1 to 3 employees only, if you have more than three, you have to buy the expensive version from QB frankly, you can't get it from Amazon vendors.In the past, QB allows you to pay $10 extra as you go, when you have more than 3 broadcast that month, but no more. Now, if you have more than 3 employees you are looking at $500, and every year, you need to upgrade to meet contemporary year tax changes.In other words, once you use QB, they own you and you start your slow death.
