3. Tom is a star student, as well as a star diver! He attended Plymouth College in the U.K., and received As in photography, Spanish and math.

4. Sadly, Toms father died from a brain tumor in 2011 at the age of 40 after battling cancer. However, Tom lives near his mom, Debbie, and his two brothers.

5. Tomwon the bronze medal for the U.K. in the individual diving competition at the2012 Summer Olympics.

Tom Daley Comes Out As Bisexual: Family Has Been So Supportive

Though this is the first time most of the world is learning about Toms sexuality, there is one person he made sure to tell before the big announcement: his mother,Debbie. He says shes been so supportive, even if the rest of his family members have mixed opinions on the subject.
