Word Perfect Suite 7, by CorelWord Perfect Suite 7 is the last version for Windows 3.1x. The back of the CD box says Suite 7 "also runs on Windows 95" (you would be restricted to the 8.3 file name format). The CD contains Word Perfect 7, Quattro Pro 7, Presentations 7, Paradox 7, CorelFLOW 2, Time Line, Take up Book, Rhymer, American Heritage Glossary, Diplomat 1.0a, Netscape Navigator 2.01, Associate 2.0, Dashboard 3.0, 10,000 Clipart Descriptions, and 1,000 fonts. The user manuals are on the CD in electronic format (Diplomat). The document manuals are the "Up and Running Guide", "Fonts", and "Clipart". You get quite a bundle for your computer.The "Up and Running Guide" explains how to go the Ordinary Installation. You can either delete any before version of an application, or keep it in addition to these products (p.9). A chapter explains "Getting Help". The longest chapters are "Using Corel Word Perfect" and "Using Corel Paradox". The other chapters are "Using Corel Quattro Pro", "Using Corel Presentations", "Using Diplomat", and "Using DAD" (Desktop Application Director). There is an 'Index'.These are professional-grade applications for potential users. Most people will use Word Perfect for their weekly reports. Some will build spreadsheets (Quattro Pro) or database files (Paradox), while most others will only use them. The manufactured goods could not cooperate with my operativsystem [Windows XP]. It is not compatibel with [Windows 8] either on my other PC.So it is a total miss for me.

The software is programmed under OEM, but what shipped is not. In addendum, the package only ran on Windows 95. Now if one desires to get technical you could blame me for not looking at the depiction close sufficient to see the "for Windows 95." However, to my point the specifications should also be inflicted with been programmed within the manufactured goods description. Blame me I estimate, but it's a bit deceptive as the package has this in a tiny modest check over and it's not in the description as far as I'm worried. So I now be inflicted with a lump of a waste of time items and a waste of money.

This is an exceptional wrap.I bought Office7 new about 12 years ago. I still use it, just on an offline notebook (WIN98 OS) since internet hackers... but disparate MS who designs inappropriateness into each rev of their personnel harvest, this Corel manufactured goods has vast import/export capabilities (limited to what was out in 1996 of course). Draw 6 is a great program. I've never had the Office7 crash, fail, or screw up.

We use Side-Kick on a Win XP apparatus to keep up mailing and telephone lists. I needed to replace this notebook and could possibly not fine the original old WP 7 disk - so bought this. It came very promptly and works well. We're so used to Side-Kick with the intention of switching to another program is a royal bind.

When I try to load this copy of Word Exact 7 into my pad, I get an blunder idea, "This curriculum does not run on Windows NT. You must be in succession Windows 95 to run this curriculum." I get this same idea when I try to load it on Windows XP and Windows Outlook, both of which are more contemporary than Windows NT. If I had been well-informed of this provision, I would not have purchased the curriculum.

Before buying, check if the version being sold is compatible with your computer. Four separate versions of Corel WordPerfect Suite 7 were released and only one of them works with Windows 2000 or XP. For these in commission systems make sure you order the third 32-bit version that is numbered 7.0.2.19 or before long . This is commonly described as the "NT-enabled" version, and shipped in boxes with the blue label that mentions Windows NT, as well as Windows 95. Windows 2000/XP compatible version also available as part of Corel Office Professional 7; the box must have a white version of the label.The peddler can determine which version of WordPerfect 7 by looking at the VOLINFO.TXT file on the installation CD.
